We have all seen the ads on various social media platform. A lot of them promising 6 or even 7 figure incomes. It all seems too good to be true. An yes, it is… if you are not willing to work for it. Did you know that the majority of the millionaires in the US at the moment are self made? That means they worked hard to create their own financial empire and become financially free. It is possible, but it doesn’t come easy. The one key factor in creating your success is consistency. You need to keep doing what you are doing and you will eventually see gains. If you are expecting a 6 or 7 figure return by the end of the first month you may be better to buy a lotto ticket (although, never say never right?)
Below are some great sites which can be used to educate yourself in creating a viable and sustainable online income. There are some affiliate links included, but one thing you should remember, this could be you. I was in your position not so long ago, wondering if I could create a business online. The moment I started to believe in myself is the moment I started to see returns.
1. Stacked Marketer
This is a newsletter sign up company. They provide a daily email which is aimed at anyone branching into online marketing. There are useful tips and a fantastic community to back it up. Each daily newsletter is around a 7 minute read. Easily achieved with your morning coffee.
2. LinkedIn Online Training
Yes!LinkedIn provide their own training videos to improve the skills of their users. These can be used in the corporate world and also to increase your skillset in your small business as you build and grow. To add to this, they offer proficiency badges for certain skills. Just complete the quizes to earn the badges for the programs you are proficient in and this will appear on your profile. It will make you more visible to prospective employers and also, if your profile is linked to your business build brand confidence.
3. Alison
Alison is an online course directory. You can learn a wide variety of business skills. This is useful if you are building your employee base and want them to access standard training without the needs for a learning and development team to produce your company training. It is also very useful to give you some free start up training for your business. Many courses are free but you may be charges for certification.
4. 12Handz
This is a UK based online training company who help to curate your business plan. They work with you FOR FREE for 3 months. During this time they develop a personalised business plan with you to set your business, whatever the size, up for success. After this there is a monthly charge, but after a few months I know most businesses would like to be seeing a return on their investment.
5. NASDAQ
Use this site to develop financial literacy. If you want to become more financially aware, making sound investments for both yourself and your business, this is the place to for you. Nasdaq has a glossary of terms for financial literacy. Bookmark this URL and get learning any chance you can until financial literacy is reached. On top of this the site gives insights and news if you are interested in branching out into the trading profession.
This is just a starting point. Their are so many great resources out there. The key to success is to continually build your knowledge so that you can jump on opportunities as they arise.
